No, I’m not kissing that

I’m not really sure where July went.  It flew by in a haze of moving boxes, mom’s heart attack, countless trips to the hospital and hours spent watching the numbers on the monitors for improvements.

Through all of this, Adam has been watched by numerous friends who have been so generous with their time and attention.  He’s also been on what I call “Daddy Standard Time,” you know, that magical place where bedtimes don’t exist and crackers are okay to eat for dinner, in front of the tv, rules be damned.

The other night I was home in time to actually enforce bedtime.

I have allll of these kisses, what will I do with them? I asked Adam.

Give them to me!  Give me all of them!

Where?  Where will I give you all of my kisses?

Kiss this! He laughed, turning around to flash his bottom at me.

No thanks.  I’ll keep them to myself.

Preschool starts in just two weeks.  Good luck and God bless you people.
