Dear Fisher Price

Dear Fisher Price,

Today I got a fabulous bargain on one of your toys, the Polar Coaster, or some such.  It was almost 60% off and at only $15,  imagine my glee to get it home and unwrap it.

I imagined that my son would have hours of joyful play just like this lovely little girl in the ad.

polar bear coaster

Beautiful, isn’t she?

However, I feel a little misled.  I would like to suggest some alternative pictures for future packaging:

Eating the igloo:

adam bear 2

Polar Bear eating the igloo:

Crawling away after 8.45 minutes:

adam bear e

Because seriously?  How did you keep that little girl from ripping the penguin topped igloo from the track and nomming on it???  How did you keep her from grabbing the polar bear and chewing on its ears???

Did you find small 2 year olds to test it with and then write 6m+ on the box?  How plus do you mean?

Or maybe it’s just my kid.

Nah.

Sincerely,

Me.

P.S. He’s totally available for catalogs, commercials, you know, whatever you need!

P.S.S.  Can you send some free toys he might like better?

P.S.S.S. Okay never mind, that seemed a bit much, but yes on the photo shoot!  Thanks! :)

He is the cutest thing evah. He will love this again towards two. My son is rediscovering baby toys like crazy. Wish you were closer. We’ve got the FP house/doorway thing, the Dino ball thing . . .

He is so cute and no it is not just your kid! My boys use to demolish anything that was able to be pulled apart or dismantled. We finally stopped buying things and just let other people buy them so that we didnt feel bad whenthey had more fun with the box than the actual toy!

I’m sure by now FP responded, so you’ll be updating us soon.

    Adorable!

That’s too funny. I’m sure they photoshop’d that toy in front of that little girl! LOL!

Haha, too cute! Courtney could not be more right there… I went a little too crazy with The Manchild when he was that small… 10 years later with my 2 babies, I told my mother that I wasn’t going to buy them any toys because no matter what you put in front of them, they are happies with a cardboard box, and pots with wooden spoons! This time around I have been much better :) And TRUE TRUE to Keyona!!!
