I Can Has Skillz

I am on technology overload.

I took a class on using Google Earth in the classroom.  Holy Cow.  1) Google owns everything.  2) Google can do anything it wants 3) The possibilities are almost endless.  (PS.  Google give me a job doing something, anything, even the mail room because it’s an uber cool place to work).

So my mind is bursting with possibilities and I’m all busy using social networking to gather information via email from former students and uploading data and pictures to Google Earth.

I’m teched out and brain fried.  But, I have skills.

When I came home from class and relieved Grandma from her babysitting duties, I remember asking Adam and he wallowed all over me like a fish, “When you gonna sit up on your own? Never that’s when!  Cause you won’t crawl.”

He responded with a slightly foul mood which indicated a nap was imminent.  I laid him in bed and fired up Twitter.  Because you know, after a day of tech, what I need is some technie networking.

The loud chorus of chatter told me that there was no sleeping going on in that room.

This is what I found.

My son.

Not laying down like I left him.  Somehow pulled himself up and sitting up on his own.

Making a liar, liar pants on fire out of mama.

No his bed is not framed with a  motivational poster frame..that is entirely inspired by the mindless amusement I find by the www.icanhascheezburger.com. And because Lunapic will allow me to edit my child’s photos for my own amusement.

He’s adorable and of course he will eventually get with the program. But not before he scares you senseless. Get used to it, it doesn’t get any better (Mom of teens talking here).
